Microsoft has revealed its latest weapon in the ongoing battle with Google. The software giant has launched its flagship product Office 2010, aimed at businesses and home users. The latest version of the software has a free online version called Office Web Apps.

Analysts believe the online version is a response to Google's 'Docs'. Microsoft will also offer its online office suite to all users of one of the world's most popular social networking sites, Facebook.

Internet approaches addressing limit

A report shows that in less than 18 months time, there will be no more Internet addresses to give out. 9th September 2011 is the predicted date to which the last addresses will be left to use.

Everything that is connected to the Internet needs an 'IP address' to ensure data reaches the right person or device.

Experts say that the net's entire existing address space will be exhausted about a year after that date.
