Another Solution
The Challenge
Another Solution produce photographic shoots in South Africa
working with a number of South African based photographers. Their
local knowledge of models and locations means they guarantee results,
without the cost of flying people in from all over the world.
Another Solution required a Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Tool to help keep track of suspects, prospects and customers.
Previously, Another Solution had been using a number of Excel
Spreadsheets containing various customer information and was having
difficulty keeping on top of developments.
Since the work undertaken by Another Solution takes place in the UK
and South Africa, the CRM Tool implemented had to be accessible
world-wide.
The Solution
Following competitive tender, we were selected to develop the CRM
Tool required to assist Another Solution. Using our InfinityCRM™
software as a starting point we developed a bespoke database driven
system based upon the structure of the current spreadsheets and
Another Solution's technical requirements.
Firstly, the CRM Tool had to be accessible from anywhere around the
world and ideally should function without requiring expensive licensed
software products. As the CRM Tool is web based, the only
requirements are an Internet connection and a standard web browser.
We developed this focussing on cross-browser
functionality ensuring the widest usage possible. The CRM Tool
layout was designed with quick loading and ease of use in
mind as the success of this type of project relies heavily on its
download time.
One of the major problems with a web based project is the issue of
security. Being available around the world means that access to
the CRM Tool had to be tightened and monitored. Only designated
personnel at Another Solution have permission to enable user details
and every action on the system is logged in an Audit Trail. This
essential Audit Trail helps to monitor system usage as well as
providing a history of client activity.
The CRM Tool has provided Another Solution with a
powerful online system enabling quick updates to be made to the client
details and notes without the need of expensive proprietary software.
The "Create a Mailing List" functionality enables Another Solution to
produce ad-hoc targeted mail shots to relevant clients without
requiring the assistance of a third party.
The Result
Since its launch the CRM Tool has provided Another Solution with a
single database containing all its relevant client details accessible
from anywhere in the world. This secure tool enables personnel
at Another Solution to arrange meetings, schedule follow-up calls,
record essential notes about each of its clients and share important
information with designated personnel.

shoots has helped us keep on top of our customer liaison and maintain
